KUNST ‘Sea of Stories’ by Studio Quirin Krumbholz

The “Sea of Stories” is a mesmerizing kinetic art installation based on the fundamental force of magnetism. Unlike certain species in sharks and birds, humans lack the sense of Magnetoreception. The works of Quirin Krumbholz are revealing the presence of magnetic fields in unexpected and mind-blowing ways. Floating liquids with constantly changing patterns that are just hanging on thin cables, “hedgehogs” made of powder, walking upside down over ceilings and “powder beasties” spiraling along walls.

PHOTO COLLECTION selected by world-architects.com

The photo collection is dedicated to the theme of "LEICHT.BAU" and shows a diverse selection of contemporary projects around the globe. The photographs present buildings that deal with the theme in different ways and put the projects centre stage through exciting and varied image details.
