KD Basic convinces with the simple and quick locking of doors without key or bathroom rose. The door is locked via a simple pin on the door handle, so no bathroom or key rose is required below the door handle. In the room atmosphere, the models therefore remain in the background and convince with their reduced design. The KD Basic owes its innovative functionality to a patented technology in the spindle. It can therefore be combined with any mortise lock with an 8 x 8 mm lock follower. Neither the lock nor the lock pocket need to be specially prepared. To lock the door, simply push the pin into the door handle. To open the lock, simply press down on the door handle. If the outside door handle is operated when the door is locked, it simply turns freely and no additional force is exerted on the lock and square spindle. On the underside of the outside rose, the KD Basic has a secure emergency release to gain access to the room in an emergency. With just one finger, the emergency release lever can be moved, allowing the door to be unlocked quickly and safely. The KD Basic remains fully functional and can be operated again as usual after an emergency unlocking by pushing the lever back to its original position.
